Injured Athlete Program
It is a given that an injury can change everything, leaving an athlete feeling unsure and scared. At Greenepsych, we provide expert support to help with the psychological struggles that often accompany the rehabilitation process. We work closely, when necessary, with sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, athletic trainers, fitness coaches, and parents to develop a plan to aid in the athlete’s mental recovery. Under the direction of Lauren Ruhl, LPC, CSCS, our Director of Injury Recovery, we help the athlete gain perspective and find the motivation to keep moving forward in the face of adversity.
Our Approach
We begin with a brief phone consultation to assess your needs and determine if we are the right fit for you. From there, we work collaboratively with you and any other professionals involved in your care to deliver personalized, compassionate care that addresses the impact of your injury on your current mental state and your future plans for returning to play.
