Dr. Greene will be joining Philadelphia Runner on June 16th for an in person conversation about mental prep for post-pandemic racing. The fact that you will soon be racing is exciting for some and scary for others. It’s important to train your mind to prepare for competition, keeping in mind that your training has in some way been impacted by the pandemic. Most importantly, runners need to learn to calm themselves down, get perspective, set realistic goals, and have a long term, rather than a short term, view on racing. We’ll be at the University City Store on Wednesday at 7pm discussing this and more. Anyone is welcome.
