Marty Kupprion, M.Ed.

Marty Kupprion, affectionately known as Coach Kupp, is excited to bring his extensive experience and passion for youth sports to Greenepsych as a Youth Sports Development Specialist and Parent Coach.  With over 20 years of dedication to education, coaching, and sports management, Marty is committed to transforming the youth sports culture by fostering a positive and supportive environment for athletes, families, and coaches.

As one of the original members of NXT Sports, Marty has been a driving force behind the organization’s boy’s lacrosse initiatives since 2009. His leadership in creating and expanding programs such as Cradle Lacrosse, Play Fast Training & Camps, and the NXT Lacrosse Club has been instrumental in shaping the lacrosse experience for players of all ages. Since joining NXT full-time in 2014, Marty has successfully managed a variety of lacrosse camps and training programs, impacting thousands of young athletes. Coach Kupp takes great pride in that NXT has helped place more than three hundred student-athletes in college lacrosse programs, as well as assisting players who later would play in the pros and on Team USA.

At Greenepsych, Marty will focus on providing educational resources and direct support for all key stakeholders in youth sports, including parents, coaches, and athletes. His extensive background makes him the perfect person to help others learn the skills of effective communication between parents and young athletes, and how best to foster a positive coaching environment. Marty will create and deliver tailored workshops and training programs designed to educate parents on how to support their child’s athletic journey, offer athletes strategies for mental resilience and peak performance, and equip coaches with tools to improve game management and interactions with players and other adults.
